RETURN POLICY
Union Diamond Corporation ("Union Diamond") offers a Thirty (30) day return guarantee. Customers may return any item within 30 days from the date of shipment of the merchandise for a full refund. The merchandise must be in new, unused and unworn condition and be accompanied by the original sales receipt, appraisal and accompanying grading certificates. You will need to call 800-325-1251 for a return authorization number. Please be sure to fully insure any package and return it via USPS registered mail. When the item is received in good order, a credit will be issued to those who have paid by credit card or a check issued and mailed via USPS to those who have paid by wire transfer. WARRANTY
Union Diamond also warrants that all merchandise will be free of workmanship and manufacturing defects. Union Diamond is not responsible for any items that are subjected to excessive wear, abuse, or physical damage whether accidental or otherwise. We suggest you contact your insurance professional and have the item fully insured as we cannot be held liable for any loss, theft, or damages regardless of how they may occur. We try hard to proof all data on this site. In the event that an item is marked with the wrong price, we reserve the right to cancel that or any transaction.

PAYMENT
In our efforts to give you, the consumer, the best possible prices, we ask our customers to pay for their purchases via bank wire transfer. Those customers paying by wire transfer will receive a 3% discount from our regular price. Wire transfer is an easy process and does not require any delay in shipment. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
DIAMOND GRADING
In most cases, a diamond grading report will accompany any of our loose diamonds. The most common will be a Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or an American Gem Society (AGS) report. These laboratories are recognized world over and are totally independent of Union Diamond. We do not warrant or guarantee the accuracy of their grading and these reports are provided only as a courtesy. Diamond grading is subjective and therefore different graders may have very different opinions as to grade. Union Diamond cannot be held liable for those circumstances.

SPECIAL ORDERS
All special order items are non-refundable. Special orders are items that are created at the request of the customer and to the customer's specifications. Items created via the ring builder option on this site are not considered special orders and the full 30 day return period as defined herein is in full force and effect.
In the event that a customer commissions a special order item that requires diamonds or gemstones from our regular or special order inventory, it is understood and agreed upon that the loose diamonds or gemstones to be used in said custom item will be approved prior to the start of any work. Once the diamonds or gemstones are approved by the customer and work on the custom item begins, the thirty day return policy that covers the loose diamonds or gemstones alone will commence from that date.
YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
All personal information we acquire will be treated as confidential. We will not release any information to non related third parties. Union Diamond does not sell your personal information such as name or email address.
SALES TAX
Union Diamond is located in Atlanta, Georgia 30339, USA and is required to collect sales tax for items purchased and delivered within the State of Georgia. We do not collect any sales tax for items that are shipped anywhere else within the USA. If sales or use tax is due in any other state, it will be your responsibility to contact the state in question and inquire about the possible tax liabilities.
INTERNATIONAL IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES
All international orders are shipped FOB Atlanta, GA USA. You are solely responsible for any import duties or taxes that are required by the country of import. Union Diamond collects these duties and taxes from the customer and pays them on the customers behalf to the appropriate tax authority in the country of import. Most countries allow for the refund of duties and taxes collected directly to the customer if the item is returned. Under no circumstances is it the responsibility of Union Diamond to refund any taxes or duties. If you should have any questions, you should contact your country's customs and tax authority for clarification before ordering.

The diamonds advertised on this site have been supplied from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations Resolutions. Union Diamond Corporation hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict free, based on personal knowledge and/or written and verbal guarantees provided by any supplier of these diamonds.
