THE RADIANT CUT DIAMOND
The RADIANT CUT Diamond is another recent development in the art of diamond cutting having been created in 1977. It is the first square or rectangular cut that combines the elegance of the emerald cut's shape with the brilliance and fire of the round cut's faceting design. Because of its design, this cut requires more weight to be directed toward the diamond's depth in order to maximize brilliance. Depth percentages of 70% to 78% are not uncommon.
