Excellent Diamonds for Fair Price
Union Diamond Corp had the best selection of any jeweler I found, by far, in regard to high quality stones over 1 carat. I was able to find the exact stone that I was looking for, at a fair price. Even the Fine Jeweler who designed the setting, John Atencio, was unable to locate a more perfect fitting diamond for the setting. Thank you for your excellent advice and service! A+++++.

The Best Diamond Buying Experience
I purchased a 1 ct diamond and setting from Barbara Palumbo at Union Diamond in January 2004. There are several ways that barbara helped me. The first way was that I was very skeptical about making a purchase of this size over the internet. I first called Barbara 3 months before (October 2003) I made the purchase, she eased some of my concerns about their company. I continued to e-mail her questions and she answered everyone very quickly. The main thing I was impressed with was the fact that she always answered my questions and gave me advice eventhough I told her it would be several months before I made a purchase - also she never put any pressure on me to hurry and make a decision to buy.Secondly, I wanted to buy the diamond and setting at the same time. I found a setting I really liked on the blue nile site - by the way Union Diamond is more customer friendly better on price than blue nile. So my dilema was that I wanted to do business with union diamond but they did not have a setting I liked. I e-mailed the specs from the setting on blue nile and Barbara had UD's manufacturer make the setting - union made the exact setting for less than blue nile was selling theirs. I will do the same thing when the time comes to make the wedding band purchase.The last part of my great experience was actually picking out the diamond. There were several diamonds that I had chosen from the inventory on the union website, and barbara gave me her recommendations. I followed her advice and my fiancee gets compliments everyday on the sparkle and shine of the diamond. I studied the four C's a good bit but there are several other factors that affect the diamond's appearance and you can trust that Barbara will point these out. Actually the diamonds I chose cost a little more than the ones she recommended and that showed me she was concerned with more than just the sale.In my opinion you should not even waste your time going to a local jewelry store, I did and they could not match the quality, inventory or price available at union diamond. I think Fishy is a bit Fishy..
Having purchased a diamond from Union Diamond and being very satisfied with my diamond and the service, I wanted to comment on several things. Fishy's original comment is still in the reviews, I just read it again, dated 10/30/02.I also wanted to mention that the diamond I had originally purchased from Union Diamond ended up in a mishap. Tony called me the day after I wired the funds and said that the salesman had brought in the wrong diamond and the diamond I wanted had been sold. I was still able to find the diamond that matched the specs that I wanted. It is interesting to me that the writer several reviews down had a simular experience.

Fantastic.First diamond ever purchased. Tony helped me to find exactly what I thought I was looking for, and when it arrived, I was more than I ever imagined - couldn't believe what he picked out. I was refered to him by my father who has a history with Tony, and he was refered to Tony from a friend. Now all three of us will "never buy from any place else."
