Extremely satisfied customer!
I did a lot of research regarding diamonds before we made a purchase. I learned a lot about the four Cs, in particular about the cut of a round brilliant diamond, and what makes a diamond ideal. The diamond that I found at Union Diamond is incredible! I get a lot of compliments on how sparkly it is! The price was also competitive, and after sending the wire transfer our diamond arrived the following day. It was all very easy. It came nicely packaged with a GIA certificate and an appraisal. Jeff Skelpsa was extremely helpful, always returning my calls and emails and answering my questions. I would buy again from Union Diamond with no hesitation. My diamond is awesome!

A clean catch at Union
OK, I was a little skeptical with all the glowing reviews and I thought things were very fishy so I checked out othere retailers and web sites and I kept coming back to Union. I must of called a dozen times with questions and I spoke to at least three different sales people. It was quite impressive. They all seemed to know there stuff. I purchases a 1.05 D color and VS2(60.1D 57T with excellent polish and very good symmtry)for $6500. I cant tell you how releived I was when the box arrived(it's really scary to buy something you haven't seen). I opened it and inside was another box and again another. Finally there was the small ring box. As soon as I opened it I was sure I made the right choice. I took it to a local gem appraiser who said that it matched the GIA certificate and that I got a really good deal. He even appraised it for more than Union did. Would I go back to Union? Absolutely. The selection, knowledge and customer service was incredible. Thanks to you guys I'm now engaged to a terrific gal. See you at Christmas.

Absolutely First Class
The quality of the diamonds I received was absolutely spectacular. I was even told by a local jeweler that he could not have purchased them from his regular suppliers for the price Union was asking. To top it all off, Tony Rixom epitomized what genuine customer service is all about. It was an absolute pleasure to do business with both Tony and Union Diamond, and as far as I'm concerned, they have a customer for life here in Reno, NV. Thanks a million!...Steve Clark

The Best Diamond Buying Experience
I purchased a 1 ct diamond and setting from Barbara Palumbo at Union Diamond in January 2004. There are several ways that barbara helped me. The first way was that I was very skeptical about making a purchase of this size over the internet. I first called Barbara 3 months before (October 2003) I made the purchase, she eased some of my concerns about their company. I continued to e-mail her questions and she answered everyone very quickly. The main thing I was impressed with was the fact that she always answered my questions and gave me advice eventhough I told her it would be several months before I made a purchase - also she never put any pressure on me to hurry and make a decision to buy.Secondly, I wanted to buy the diamond and setting at the same time. I found a setting I really liked on the blue nile site - by the way Union Diamond is more customer friendly better on price than blue nile. So my dilema was that I wanted to do business with union diamond but they did not have a setting I liked. I e-mailed the specs from the setting on blue nile and Barbara had UD's manufacturer make the setting - union made the exact setting for less than blue nile was selling theirs. I will do the same thing when the time comes to make the wedding band purchase.The last part of my great experience was actually picking out the diamond. There were several diamonds that I had chosen from the inventory on the union website, and barbara gave me her recommendations. I followed her advice and my fiancee gets compliments everyday on the sparkle and shine of the diamond. I studied the four C's a good bit but there are several other factors that affect the diamond's appearance and you can trust that Barbara will point these out. Actually the diamonds I chose cost a little more than the ones she recommended and that showed me she was concerned with more than just the sale.In my opinion you should not even waste your time going to a local jewelry store, I did and they could not match the quality, inventory or price available at union diamond.
