To ensure you have enough time to consider your purchase, Union Diamond offers a thirty 30 day return and exchange guarantee. Customers may return any item other than custom or special ordered items within 30 days from the original date of shipment of the merchandise for a full refund or exchange. In the event that the customer personally inspects and accepts the merchandise at our premises, an order will be placed and the 30 day return policy will commence from that date. Please read this entire policy prior to purchase. This is our policy and if you do not agree to this policy you should reconsider any potential purchase from Union Diamond.
In the event that a customer decides to exchange an item, the exchange must be made within the 30 day return and exchange period from the date of shipment. The exchange of an item does not extend the original return and exchange policy and the customer should be fully aware that any such right to return or exchange any item under our 30 day return policy will expire after the 30th day of the date of the original shipment or personal inspection and acceptance (whichever is sooner). Please be sure to fully insure any package and return it via USPS registered mail only.
All special order items are non-refundable. Special orders are items that are created at the request of the customer and to the customer's specifications. Items created via the ring builder option on this site are not considered special orders and the full 30 day return period, as defined herein, is in full force and effect.
In the event that a customer commissions a special order item that requires diamonds or gemstones from our regular or special order inventory, it is understood and agreed upon that the loose diamonds or gemstones to be used in said custom item will be approved prior to the start of any work. Once the diamonds or gemstones are approved by the customer and work on the custom item begins, the thirty day return policy that covers the loose diamonds or gemstones alone will commence from that date.
The merchandise must be in new, unused, unworn condition and not damaged or modified in any way and be accompanied by the original sales receipt, appraisal and accompanying grading reports. Any laser inscription added to a diamond at the customer's request or by a grading laboratory or other entity and regardless of reason will be considered to be modified and will immediately and irrevocably void Union Diamond's 30-Day return policy.
Any promotional item such as a free gift with the purchase of additional items must also be returned in the same condition described above. Please note that if a loose diamond is set by a jeweler other than Union Diamond or if a jewelry item has been modified in any way, all warranties and return policies are invalidated. Union Diamond will not accept any item for return unless it has a valid RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Please be sure to fully insure any package and return it via USPS registered mail only. Failure to follow these instructions will result in the refusal of any package.
All Refunds will be processed within 7 business days from the day we receive the merchandise for return. In the case where payment is made by personal check, the refund process may take up to 14 working days due to the length of time it may take to clear a personal check.
