Shape: Radiant

The RADIANT CUT is another recent development in the art of diamond cutting having been created in 1977. It is the first square or rectangular cut that combines the elegance of the emerald cut's shape with the brilliance and fire of the round cut's faceting design. Because of its design, this cut requires more weight to be directed toward the diamond's depth in order to maximize brilliance. Depth percentages of 70% to 78% are not uncommon.

Color: L

A diamond in the K, L or M color range can be a particularly pleasing diamond to certain individuals. Its subtle yellowish tint and warm glow can be quite pleasing for the person wearing such a gem. To enhance the diamonds appearance, look for one that has a fine cut and medium or strong blue fluorescence.

Clarity: SI1
Although imperfections may be visible in an SI1 diamond by an experienced diamond grader when using a 10X jewelers loupe or gem scope, there will be very minimal impact on the visual appearance or performance of the diamond. SI1 graded diamonds are not as rare and are therefore less expensive than their VS or VVS counterparts.
